The game's started, yay!
I had to take a girl's hold away yesterday when we got an application in for her character. I was a little annoyed when I contacted the girl with the hold to ask her if she was finished with the app yet, only to be told that she hadn't even started it. I had given her well over a week to get it done. Blah.
Anyway, we have a decent amount of people so far. No Hufflepuffs yet. I need to do some Huff-specific pimping.

Hrmph. Well, a lot of really good players are in the process of writing their applications, and I expect them in the next couple of days...but, as today is when the game was supposed to open and we have no official players yet, I think I'll bump the opening date back a bit.

I am ridiculously happy right now.
After years and years of being dissatisfied with having to compromise with PBs that look nothing like my character, I have finally found a girl (by random coincidence) who looks exactly like her.

It would seem I've finally found a use for this journal!
TO TALK ABOUT MY RPG.
Since, you know, that's how all brilliant people spend their time, ahem. >.>
SO, it's called Schism. I've always loved that word, the way it looks and sounds and its interesting etymology, so I figured, hey, why not mold a game around it?
That thought has been knocking around in my head for ages now until my friend Krista finally kicked my ass into gear and made me WORK. Oh she's so mean to me. ;)
It'll be "opening" pretty soon, but we're still not having much luck in the way of players. So many HP games open over the summer that I suppose most people have found somewhere for their characters. Hopefully things will calm down and more people will become available soon enough.
If any of you know someone whom you think would be interested, I'd appreciate you pointing them my way. The information and links are in my info page.
And to those whom I friended and are wondering "WTF who is this?" -- yeah, you should have figured that out by now. ;) Just thought it'd be fun to share the Harry Potter SQUEE with you.
